At 70th Coventry Scouts, sessions are designed to be fun and engaging, a completely different environment to the classroom. Our regular meetings are held on Tuesday evenings from 7 - 8.30pm in term time only.
We include traditional Scouting skills such as map reading, knot tying and compass skills, but we also engage in other activities such as cooking, money skills and teamwork.

Our subs across the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts sections are £13.50 per month for the first child and £11 per month for any siblings. This is reviewed annually to ensure we can cover our costs while providing value for money.
There are additional costs for camps and any specialised activities such as kayaking. We’ll communicate these costs well in advance to parents and carers.
The age range for Scouts covers a time when there's a lot of changes happening for the young people. Whether this is moving to secondary school, changing friendship groups or dealing with hormones, Scouts is a safe space to meet new friends and socialise outside of the school environment.
We encourage the Scouts to work collaboratively and build on their teamwork skills. This helps to support our young people in feeling confident and engaged in activities that are not based on screentime.
