At 70th Coventry Beavers, sessions are designed to be short but impactful. Our regular meetings are held on Wednesday evenings 5.30-6.30pm in term time only.
Children work towards earning badges, focusing on a 'Challenge' badge over a term, as well as gaining individual skills badges. The costs of the badges are covered by your subs.
We sometimes take the children offsite into the local community, as well as to external venues, to ensure a varied and engaging program. Sessions are planned termly and we share the details with parents and carers in advance.
Our subs across the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts sections are £13.50 per month for the first child and £11 per month for any siblings. This is reviewed annually to ensure we can cover our costs while providing value for money.
There are additional costs for camps and any specialised activities such as kayaking. We’ll communicate these costs well in advance to parents and carers.

We are committed to providing the best possible introduction to Scouting for our young Beavers and give them the confidence to try new things. Children typically start with us the term after they turn 6 years old, as we work on badges on a termly basis.
It can be scary starting a new adventure, but our leaders are experienced in helping children to get the most out of joining Scouting. Once they're comfortable, we'll invest your child, and they'll start earning their badges and awards.
