Empowering 70th Coventry Scouts's Youth Through Education

 Explorers is a little different to the younger sections, as the young people plan their own program of activities based on what they're interested in. This means they're more likely to be engaged and participate fully, building confidence and fostering friendships with other teens.

Our regular meetings are held on Tuesday evenings from 8.30 - 10pm in term time only. 

Our subs are £25 per month and this is paid on the 1st of the month via standing order. Subs are used to cover the costs of equipment, resources and venue hire.

There may be additional costs for optional experiences such as camps, details will be communicated to parents and carers with plenty of notice. 

Our volunteers are keen for all of our Explorers to get involved and try new things, we provide a safe space for teens to learn new skills and socialise. We go off-site a lot and expose the group to lots of new experiences, helping them to learn key skills to set them up for later life while keeping things fun and engaging.

We believe in the importance of giving back to the community. That's why we offer a variety of community service opportunities for young people to get involved in and make a difference.

In 2025 we supported the Finham summer Festival as well as the Round Table Santa Sleigh walk in 2024.
